ACB sets profit target VND 22,274 billion in 2026, increases capital to over VND58,000 billion

AsemconnectVietnam - Asia Commercial Bank (ACB - HOSE) has just announced the documents for its 2026 annual general meeting, including proposals on business plans, profit distribution, charter capital increase, and dividend payment.
ACB aims for a 16% increase in total assets by the end of 2026 compared to the beginning of the year. Loan balances are projected to increase by 16% and not exceed the credit growth limit approved by the State Bank of Vietnam. Deposits (including securities) are expected to increase by 16%. The non-performing loan ratio is targeted to be below 2%.
Pre-tax profit for 2026 is expected to increase by 14% compared to 2025, equivalent to VND22,274 billion.
Regarding profit distribution in 2025 (ACB achieved nearly VND19,539 billion before tax), after allocating funds and paying taxes, ACB has VND12,731 billion remaining. Adding the remaining undistributed profits from previous years of VND12,467 billion, ACB has VND25,198 billion in profits available for dividend distribution in 2025. The bank plans to distribute a 20% dividend, comprising 13% in shares and 7% in cash, totaling VND10,273 billion.
After the distribution, ACB is expected to have VND14,924 billion in remaining profits. ACB stated that increasing charter capital is necessary to increase medium- and long-term capital for credit granting activities, investment in government bonds; to increase capital for office construction, renovation, repair, relocation of distribution channel headquarters, and investment in strategic projects. Enhancing financial capacity and adapting to market fluctuations.
Regarding the stock dividend plan, ACB plans to issue an additional 667.77 million shares to pay dividends to existing shareholders, at a rate of 13%. With a par value of VND10,000/share, the maximum expected increase in charter capital is VND6,677 billion.
The funding source is from consolidated undistributed profits as of December 31, 2025, after deducting reserve funds. The issuance is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2026. If the issuance is successful, ACB's charter capital will increase from VND21,366 billion to VND58,044 billion.
