Exports to Czech showed growth in 2 months of 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the Customs Department, Vietnam's exports to the Czech market in the first two months of 2026 reached US$378.4 million, an increase of 19.2% compared to the previous year.
The Czech Republic is one of the fastest-growing and most stable economies, with a strong and prosperous industrial economy among the countries transitioning to market economies in Eastern Europe.
The leading export item to the Czech Republic in the first two months of 2026 was the group of computers, electronic products and components, valued at US$233.4 million, an increase of 41.5% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 62.2% of total exports. This was followed by machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts, reaching US$101.2 million, accounting for 27% of total exports. The third on the list was transportation equipment and parts, reaching US$6.7 million, an increase of 27.4%.
In addition, Vietnam also exported other goods to the Czech market, such as textiles; plastic products; telephones and components; wood and wood products; wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas; confectionery and cereal products; seafood, etc., among which the item with the highest export growth compared to the same period last year was telephones and components, increasing by 765.7%.
Not only a final destination, the Czech Republic is also considered a strategic gateway for Vietnamese goods to access the entire EU bloc. With a convenient logistics system, a central geographical location and extensive trade connections, Vietnamese goods from the Czech Republic can easily be distributed to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and other Eastern European markets.
