Fertilizer exports increased in first 2 months of 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - In the first two months of 2026, fertilizer exports reached nearly 449,319 tonnes, worth of US$186.58 million, an increase of 34.47% in volume and 38.76% in value compared to the first two months of 2025.
According to preliminary data from the Customs Department, in February of 2026, Vietnam exported 196,722 tonnes of fertilizer, worth of US$85.43 million, with an average price of US$434.3/tonne, a decrease of 22.1% in volume and 15.5% in value, but an increase of 8.5% in price compared to January of 2026. In comparison to February of 2025, there was an increase of 5.3% in volume, 15.7% in value, and 9.9% in price.
Overall, in the first two months of 2026, fertilizer exports reached nearly 449,319 tonnes, valued at US$186.58 million, with an average price of US$415.3/tonne, an increase of 34.5% in volume, 38.8% in value, and 3.2% in price compared to the first two months of 2025.
Vietnam's fertilizer exports to Cambodia were the highest, accounting for 18.4% of the total volume and 18.5% of the value of the country's total fertilizer exports, reaching 82,700 tonnes, valued at US$34.6 million, with an average price of US$418.4/tonne, a decrease of 0.4% in volume but an increase of 20.2% in value and 20.7% in price compared to the first two months of 2025.
The second largest market was Malaysia, with 29,272 tonnes, valued at US$14.09 million, with an average price of US$481.5/ton; a decrease of 11.5% in volume, but an increase of 7.9% in value and 21.9% in price, accounting for 6.5% of the volume and 7.6% of the value. The next was the Philippine market with 23,398 tons, valued at US$12.11 million, with an average price of US$517.4/tonne; an increase of 22% in volume, 58.1% in value and 29.6% in price, accounting for 5.2% of the volume and 6.5% of the value.
