Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering (REE) plans VND2,814 billion profit in 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering Joint Stock Company (REE) plans for growth in the energy, refrigeration and electrical engineering, and real estate sectors, with only the clean water & environment sector experiencing a decline in net profit.
In 2026, REE plans for revenue of VND12,230 billion, a 22.2% increase year-on-year; after-tax profit is expected to be VND2,814 billion, an 11.3% increase compared to 2025.
By sector, the energy sector is expected to see a 10% increase in revenue to VND5,476 billion and a slight 3.8% increase in profit to VND1,465 billion; the refrigeration and electrical engineering sector is expected to record a 32.7% increase in revenue to VND4,672 billion and a 38.1% increase in profit to VND227 billion. The real estate sector recorded a 39.1% increase in revenue, reaching VND1,861 billion, and a 34.9% increase in net profit, reaching VND693 billion; while the clean water and environment sector is expected to see a 27.2% increase in revenue, reaching VND221 billion, and a 2.6% decrease in net profit, reaching VND346 billion.
Previously, at the end of 2025, Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering recorded revenue of VND10,012 billion, a 19% increase year-on-year and 98% of the plan; and after-tax profit of VND2,529 billion, a 27% increase year-on-year and 104% of the annual plan.
Another noteworthy point is that Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering previously announced the documents for the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled to be held on March 31st in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2026, Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering proposes to shareholders an interim dividend payment for 2026 in cash of a maximum of 10% of charter capital.
Regarding dividends for the 2025 fiscal year, Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering proposes to shareholders a dividend payment plan for 2025 with a total rate of 25%. This includes a cash dividend of 10% and a stock dividend of 15%.
Furthermore, the cash dividend was finalized on February 27th and will be paid on April 3rd, 2026. For the stock dividend, Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering plans to issue a total of over 81.2 million shares, with implementation expected in the second quarter of 2026.
Regarding personnel, Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering proposes to shareholders the election of two additional members to the Board of Directors for the remainder of the 2023-2027 term; the list of candidates has not yet been announced. Conversely, the Company will dismiss Mr. Alain Xavier Cany and Ms. Hsu Hai Yeh from their positions as members of the Board of Directors, effective March 31, 2026.
According to our research, Ms. Hsu Hai Yeh was appointed to the Board of Directors of Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering in 2023 and, according to our introduction, has held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Jardine Cycle & Carriage Group from 2022 to the present.
Regarding Mr. Alain Xavier Cany, from 2021 to October 2024, he held the position of Non-Executive Vice President at Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering; on November 22, 2024, Mr. Alain Xavier Cany was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering, replacing Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh; and on April 9, 2025, Mr. Alain Xavier Cany will cease to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh will return to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering.
