Exports to Cambodia reached over US$890.6 million in 2 months of 2026

Accordingly, Vietnam is one of Cambodia's leading trading partners.
According to data from the Customs Department, in the first two months of 2026, export turnover to Cambodia reached over US$890.6 million, an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year.
Textiles and garments were the leading export sector to Cambodia in the first two months of 2026, reaching US$145.6 million, a decrease of 3.3%, accounting for 16.3%. This was followed by iron and steel products of all kinds, reaching US$129.3 million, an increase of 2%, accounting for 16.3% of total exports.
According to the Customs Department, in 2025, exports to Cambodia reached over US$5.6 billion, a 6.6% increase compared to the previous year. Textiles and garments remained the leading export item to Cambodia. In 2025, the exports of this sector reached US$902.1 million, a 1.5% increase compared to the previous year, accounting for 15.9% of total exports. The next was the export of iron and steel products, reaching US$832.4 million in 2025, a 12.4% increase, accounting for 14.6% of total exports.
Vietnam and Cambodia share many similarities in culture, market demand, and consumer habits. These are extremely favorable factors for Vietnamese goods and services to be well-received in the Cambodian market.
Along with bilateral agreements, regional agreements and treaties within ASEAN will further strengthen the economic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
