Vinh Hoan (VHC) increased 13% revenue in January 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company (VHC) recently announced its business results for January 2026, with revenue reaching VND958 billion, a 7% increase compared to the previous month and a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
In terms of product structure, revenue from the main driver, pangasius fish, reached VND524 billion, a 37% increase compared to December 2025 and a 22% increase compared to the same period. Value-added products reached VND16 billion, a 29% increase compared to the previous month and a 37% increase compared to the same period. By-product revenue reached VND159 billion, increasing by 27% and 19% respectively compared to the same period. The healthcare segment reached VND65 billion, also increasing by 15% and 10%.
Conversely, some product groups recorded declines compared to the previous month, such as noodles and rice paper, reaching VND37 billion, down 23%; shrimp crackers, reaching VND41 billion, down 8%; and notably, the "other" product group, reaching VND117 billion, the sharpest decline of 48% compared to December 2025. However, compared to the same period in 2025, except for the "other" product group which decreased by 22%, the remaining groups all experienced double-digit growth.
In terms of markets, the positive month-on-month performance came from the US with revenue of VND246 billion, up 50%; China reached VND81 billion, up 73%; and other markets reached VND 167billion, up 14%. Meanwhile, revenue in Vietnam reached VND245 billion, down 23% compared to the previous month; Europe remained almost unchanged, with a slight decrease of 0.4%.
Compared to the same period last year, most export markets recorded double-digit growth, including China (up 27%), the US (up 25%), Europe (up 12%), and other markets (up 42%). The domestic market, however, decreased by 11% (in December 2025, Vinh Hoan's domestic market also decreased by 5% compared to the same period in 2024).
Previously, Vinh Hoan announced its 2025 business results with revenue reaching VND12,026.24 billion, a decrease of 3.9% compared to the same period last year; after-tax profit reached VND1,451.08 billion, an increase of 11.4% compared to the same period last year.
At the 2025 Annual General Meeting, Vinh Hoan approved a revenue target of VND10,900 - VND12,350 billion and after-tax profit of approximately VND1,000 - VND1,300 billion. Thus, by the end of 2025, the company had exceeded its high profit target by nearly 12%.
