AsemconnectVietnam - Binh Duong Water and Environment Corporation (Biwase, ticker BWE - HOSE) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the fourth quarter of 2025 with revenue reaching VND1,390.5 billion and after-tax profit reaching VND279.3 billion, an increase of 16.8% and 82.5% respectively compared to the same period last year.

Explaining the strong business growth in the fourth quarter of 2025, Biwase stated that during the period, the company continued to maintain stability in the number of upstream customers using clean water, the volume of clean water consumed, and the water loss rate. In addition, the volume of domestic waste, industrial waste, and wastewater treatment completed and accepted during the period increased compared to the same period last year. This resulted in a significant increase in revenue from water treatment, waste treatment, and wastewater treatment in Q4/2025 compared to the same period last year.
Regarding financial activities, the Company stated that the recorded interest in associated companies increased by VND72.68 billion compared to the same period. Simultaneously, due to the Company's implementation of exchange rate risk hedging measures through the signing of Cross Currency Swap (CCS) contracts with credit institutions, some loan contracts were swapped to fixed interest rates and exchange rates, contributing to a reduction in interest expense of VND13.31 billion and a reduction in exchange rate losses at the end of the period of VND52.49 billion compared to the same period last year. Other indicators showed insignificant increases/decreases.
Apart from the above changes in core business and financial activities, other indicators showed insignificant changes compared to the same period last year.
For the full year, Biwase recorded revenue of nearly VND4,543 billion, an increase of 14.75% compared to 2024; after-tax profit reached VND1,027.8 billion, a growth of 55.6% compared to the previous year.
Thus, with the 2025 plan of VND4,760 billion in revenue and VND640 billion in after-tax profit, Biwase has completed 95.44% of its revenue target and exceeded its profit target by 60.6%.
Amidst Biwase's strong business growth, Ms. Le Ngoc Lan Thao, the company's head of governance, registered to sell 1,687,200 shares out of her total holding of 1,692,200 BWE shares. The transaction will be conducted through negotiated and/or order matching methods, expected from February 6th to March 5th. If the transaction is successful, Ms. Lan Thao will only hold 5,000 BWE shares.
