AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, coffee prices in Vietnam fell for a third consecutive session in morning trade on Thursday, dropping below 95,000 dong per kilogram, as heavy selling pressure on global exchanges pushed prices through key technical support levels.

Domestic coffee prices were quoted in a range of 93,700–94,700 dong per kg. In Lam Dong province, prices in Di Linh, Lam Ha and Bao Loc were seen at 93,700 dong per kg. In Dak Lak, prices in Cu M’gar were quoted at 94,500 dong per kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho traded at around 94,400 dong per kg.
In Dak Nong, prices were quoted at 94,700 dong per kg, with Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap both seen at 94,600 dong per kg. In Gia Lai, prices in Chu Prong stood at 94,500 dong per kg, while Pleiku and La Grai were at 94,400 dong per kg. In Kon Tum, prices were also quoted at around 94,400 dong per kg.
On the global market, Robusta coffee futures on ICE Europe fell sharply in the latest session. The March 2026 Robusta contract dropped $49 to $3,761 per metric ton, while the May 2026 contract fell $30 to $3,689 per ton.
Arabica coffee futures on ICE New York also weakened. The March 2026 contract fell 8.45 cents to 308.65 cents per lb, while the May 2026 contract declined 3.05 cents to 297.85 cents per lb.
Prices on both exchanges extended losses for a third straight day since the start of the week, with the market undergoing a strong sell-off after breaking below key technical support levels, analysts said.
Meanwhile, top producer Brazil had recorded favorable rainfall over recent months. As Brazil approached its new harvest in the second quarter of 2026, global coffee output for the 2025/26 season was forecast to reach a new peak.
Brazil’s total coffee exports, including soluble coffee, fell nearly 21% in 2025 to about 40 million 60-kg bags, down from a record 50.6 million bags in 2024. However, average export prices rose nearly 57% to $6,486 per ton, lifting export revenues to a record high.
In Vietnam, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said coffee exports surged early this year. In the first half of January 2026 alone, export revenues reached nearly $450 million, making coffee one of the country’s top agricultural export earners at the start of the year, second only to timber and wood products.
