Vinasun (VNS): Profit in 2025 to reach over VND38 billion, down 54.5%

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam Anh Duong Joint Stock Company (Vinasun, ticker VNS - HOSE) recorded a profit of VND4.94 billion in the fourth quarter, bringing the cumulative profit for 2025 to VND38.29 billion, a decrease of 54.5% compared to the same period and only achieving 71.4% of the annual plan.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Vinasun recorded revenue of VND214.2 billion, a decrease of 4.4% compared to the same period; after-tax profit reached VND 4.94 billion, a decrease of 79.5% compared to the same period last year. The gross profit margin increased from 19.3% to 21.9%.
During the period, gross profit increased by 8.4% compared to the same period, corresponding to an increase of VND3.62 billion, reaching VND46.85 billion; Financial revenue decreased by 17.7%, equivalent to a decrease of VND 0.51 billion, to VND2.37 billion; financial expenses increased by 2.2%, equivalent to an increase of VND0.18 billion, to VND8.51 billion; selling and administrative expenses increased by 5.9%, equivalent to an increase of VND2.13 billion, to VND37.93 billion; other income decreased by 78.8%, equivalent to a decrease of VND18.75 billion, to VND5.03 billion, and other activities showed insignificant fluctuations.
Thus, although gross profit increased, net profit still decreased sharply in the last quarter of the year, mainly due to a shortfall in other income.
For the full year 2025, Vinasun recorded revenue of VND882.66 billion, a decrease of 11.9% compared to the same period; after-tax profit reached VND38.29 billion, a decrease of 54.5% compared to the same period last year.
In 2025, Vinasun plans for total revenue of VND976.94 billion, a decrease of 2.5% compared to the same period, and projected after-tax profit of VND53.63 billion, a decrease of 36.2% compared to 2024.
Thus, ending 2025 with an after-tax profit of VND38.29 billion, Vinasun did not meet its plan, achieving only 71.4% of the annual target.
Regarding asset size, as of December 31, 2025, Vinasun's total assets decreased by 4.4% compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to a decrease of VND81.6 billion, to VND1,773.6 billion. Of this, the main assets recorded are VND1,380 billion in fixed assets, accounting for 77.8% of total assets; and VND223.8 billion in cash and short-term financial investments, accounting for 12.6% of total assets. Short-term receivables amounted to VND97.3 billion, accounting for 5.49% of total assets and other items.
