Vietnam's exports to China saw growth

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the calculations from the statistics figures of the Customs Department, Vietnam's goods exports to the Chinese market in 2025 reached over US$70.4 billion, an increase of 15.1% compared to 2024.
In December of 2025 alone, Vietnam's goods exports to China reached US$7.2 billion, an increase of 16.25% compared to November of 2025.
Leading the export value in 2025 was the group of computer products, electronic products and components, reaching US$16.9 billion, an increase of 33.5% compared to the previous year, accounting for 15.67% of total exports; followed by the group of telephones and components, reaching US$15.1 billion, a decrease of 2.5%, accounting for 26.54% of total exports. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts reached US$5.5 billion, an increase of 64.07% compared to the previous year, accounting for 9.35% of total exports.
Other product groups with increased export value in 2025 compared to the previous year included various types of iron and steel (up by 175.7%); rice (up by 122.73%); toys, sporting goods and parts (up by 69.39%); other machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts (up by 64.07%); cashew nuts (up by 49.43%); and animal feed and raw materials (up by 58.37%).
China is a key export market for Vietnam's agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products. Besides strong export items such as fruits and vegetables and seafood, businesses are focusing on increasing market share in promising products such as rattan, bamboo, and sedge products, carpets, and paper products.
