Vietnam hog prices showed mixed movements on the morning of February 2, 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, Vietnam’s live hog prices moved in mixed directions on the morning ofMonday, with declines continuing in the northern region and parts of the Central Highlands, while several southern provinces recorded modest gains, traders said.

Nationwide, hog prices were traded in a range of 75,000 to 78,000 dong per kg.
Northern region
Hog prices in northern Vietnam remained under downward pressure, with some localities recording declines of up to 2,000 dong per kg from the previous day. Prices were quoted between 76,000 and 78,000 dong per kg.
Prices in Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Dien Bien and Hung Yen fell by 1,000 dong per kg to 78,000 dong per kg.
Meanwhile, prices in Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Phu Tho and Son La dropped by 1,000 dong per kg to 77,000 dong per kg.
Lai Chau recorded the sharpest decline in the region, falling 2,000 dong per kg to 76,000 dong per kg.
Central Highlands
In the central and Central Highlands region, hog prices were largely stable, with only limited declines seen in a few provinces. Prices ranged between 76,000 and 78,000 dong per kg.
Prices in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An each fell by 1,000 dong per kg to 77,000 dong per kg and 76,000 dong per kg, respectively.
Ha Tinh remained unchanged at 76,000 dong per kg.
Other localities, including Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong, were unchanged at 77,000 dong per kg, while Gia Lai stayed flat at 76,000 dong per kg.
Southern region
In southern Vietnam, hog prices showed positive signals in several provinces, with trading reported in a range of 75,000 to 78,000 dong per kg.
Prices in An Giang and Can Tho rose by 1,000 dong per kg, to 76,000 dong per kg and 77,000 dong per kg, respectively.
Elsewhere, prices in Dong Nai were steady at 78,000 dong per kg, while Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long continued to trade at 77,000 dong per kg.
Ca Mau was unchanged at 75,000 dong per kg.
