Vietnam’s animal feed market in 2025
Friday, December 26,2025
AsemconnectVietnam - In 2025, animal feed prices in Vietnam remained relatively stable and continued the downward trend observed since 2024, despite ongoing global economic uncertainties. The decline in input material prices contributed to a corresponding decrease in finished feed prices.
Specifically, piglet feed (21% protein) was priced at VND380,000–450,000 per 25 kg bag; feed for fattening pigs (18% protein) ranged from VND330,000–400,000 per 25 kg bag; and sow feed was priced at VND360,000–420,000 per bag.
Chicken starter feed ranged from VND350,000–430,000 per bag; broiler feed was priced at approximately VND310,000–380,000 per bag; and layer feed ranged from VND340,000–410,000 per bag. Feed prices for ducklings, laying ducks, and meat ducks ranged from VND320,000–420,000 per bag, depending on nutritional formulas and brands. Aquafeed (for pangasius, tilapia, and snakehead fish) ranged from VND320,000–450,000 per 25 kg bag. Meanwhile, prices of rice bran and ground corn fluctuated depending on product types.
