AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the Customs Department, Vietnam's export turnover to the South Korean market in November of 2025 reached US$2.2 billion, a decrease of 8.3% compared to the previous month.

For the first 11 months of 2025, the country’s total exports to South Korea reached US$26 billion, an increase of 11.7% compared to the same period last year.
The product group with the largest export turnover in the first 11 months of 2025 was computers, electronic products and components, reaching over US$7.7 billion, an increase of 52.2% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 29.7% of the total. This was followed by telephones and components, reaching US$3.6 billion, an increase of 11%, accounting for 13.8% of the total. The next was machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts reached US$2.9 billion, a decrease of 2.9%, accounting for 11.2% of the total.
Several groups of goods exported to South Korea saw increased export value in the first 11 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as transportation vehicles and parts increased by 14.3%; coffee increased by 45.1%; and glass and glass products increased by 35.1%.
The potential for developing trade between Vietnam and South Korea is enormous. The bilateral free trade agreement has been contributing to further promoting political, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries, further strengthening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and South Korea.
In addition to the bilateral FTA, Vietnamese businesses have more options when engaging in import and export trade with South Korea, thanks to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Another FTA is the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA).
