AsemconnectVietnam - With just over 1 month left in the fiscal year, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company (code CNG - HOSE) unexpectedly adjusted both pre-tax and post-tax profit targets before the closing date of the shareholder list for written opinion collection.

On December 15, CNG Vietnam will close the shareholder list for written opinion collection, the expected time for collecting opinions is in December 2025 and the content of the collection has not been announced.
In addition to planning to collect shareholders' opinions, CNG Vietnam also unexpectedly announced a reduction in the 2025 business plan.
Specifically, pre-tax profit is expected to decrease by 24.9% compared to the plan approved at the beginning of the year, equivalent to a decrease of VND28.3 billion, to VNd85.2 billion; and after-tax profit also decreased by 24.9% compared to the plan approved at the beginning of the year, equivalent to a decrease of VND22.6 billion, to VND68.2 billion.
Although the business plan target for 2025 was sharply reduced when business activities entered the last days of November 2025, CNG Vietnam still did not announce the reason for the sharp reduction in the business plan.
Regarding business activities, in the first 9 months of 2025, CNG Vietnam recorded revenue of VND3,111.46 billion, an increase of 26.5% over the same period, after-tax profit reached VND64.75 billion, a decrease of 11.7% over the same period last year. In which, gross profit margin improved from 8.1% to 8.4%.
Thus, ending the first 9 months of 2025 with a profit after tax of VND64.75 billion, CNG Vietnam completed 71.3% of the profit plan of VND90.8 billion approved at the beginning of the year and completed up to 94.9% of the profit plan that was just adjusted down to VND68.2 billion.
