Petroleum export markets in first 10 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, Vietnam's petroleum exports in October of 2025 decreased by 14.4% in volume and 13.8% in value compared to the previous month, reaching 108,419 tonnes, worth of 70.5 million USD.
In the first 10 months of 2025, petroleum exports reached 1,147,719 tonnes, worth of 774.8 million USD, down by 42.2% in volume and 51.9% in value.
According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, Vietnam's petroleum exports in October of 2025 decreased by 14.4% in volume and 13.8% in value compared to the previous month, reaching 108,419 tonnes, worth of 70.5 million USD. In the first 10 months of 2025, the total exports reached 1,147,719 tonnes, worth 774.8 million USD, down by 42.2% in volume and 51.9% in value.
South Korea was still Vietnam's largest petroleum export market, reaching 259,546 tonnes in the first 10 months of 2025, worth of 204.9 million USD, up by 32.7% in volume and 17.6% in value over the same period last year, accounting for more than 22-26% of total volume and total export turnover. In October of 2025 alone, it reached 18,108 tonnes, worth 14.1 million USD, down by 42%-43% in volume and value.
Petroleum exports to the Chinese market accounted for more than 20-23% of the total volume and turnover, reaching 232,636 tonnes, turnover reaching 183.5 million USD, up by 41.1% in volume and 21.1% in value in the 10 months of 2025. In October of 2025 alone, petroleum exports decreased by 16% in volume and 15.6% in value.
The next was the Singapore market, accounting for 24.8% of the total volume and 18.3% of the total turnover, reaching 285,416 tonnes, turnover reaching 142.4 million USD, up by 16.9% in volume and down by 4.1% in value. In October of 2025 alone, exports reached 32,966 tonnes, worth of 14.1 million USD.
The next was the Cambodian market, accounting for 17% of the total volume and total turnover, reaching 195,113 tonnes, turnover of 138.8 million USD, down by 41.5% in volume and down by 47.7% in value. The figure of October of 2025 alone reached 24,224 tonnes, worth of 17.2 million USD. And then was the Malaysian market, accounting for 6-9% of the total volume and total turnover, reaching 107,906 tonnes, with the turnover of 53.6 million USD, up by 58.5% in volume and up by 77.8% in value. The figure of October of 2025 alone reached 6,847 tonnes, worth of 3.5 million USD.
