Fertilizer exports grew well in first 10 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 10 months of 2025, fertilizer exports reached nearly 1.77 million tonnes, worth of 747.45 million USD, up by 22.6% in volume, up by 26.6% in value compared to the first 10 months of 2024.
According to preliminary data from the Customs Department, in October of 2025, Vietnam exported 191,643 tonnes of fertilizer, worth of 44.27 million USD, with an average price of 435.5 USD/tonne, down by 37.2% in volume, down by 44.1% in turnover and down by 11% in price compared to September of 2025; compared to October of 2024, it also decreased by 31.1% in volume, down by 26% in turnover but increased by 7.4% in price.
In the first 10 months of 2025, fertilizer exports reached nearly 1.77 million tonnes, worth of 747.45 million USD, with an average price of 423 USD/tonne, up by 22.6% in volume, 26.6% in turnover and 3.2% in price compared to the first 10 months of 2024. Vietnam's fertilizer exports were mostly to the Cambodian market, accounting for 34.5% in volume and 33.4% in turnover of the country's total fertilizer exports, reaching 610,275 tonnes, worth of 249.43 million USD, with an average price of 408.7 USD/tonne; increased by 27.5% in volume, increased by 26.4% in value but decreased by 0.9% in price compared to the first 10 months of 2024.
The second largest market was the Korean market with 111,006 tonnes, worth of 45.82 million USD, average price of 412.8 USD/tonne; decreased by 32.5% in volume, decreased by 31.5% in turnover but increased by 1.5% in price, accounting for over 6% in both volume and turnover; the next was the Malaysian market with 98,264 tonnes, worth of 41.64 million USD, average price of 423.7 USD/tonne; increased by 2.6% in volume, increased by 14% in turnover and increased by 11.1% in price, accounting for nearly 6% in both volume and turnover.
In general, fertilizer exports to most markets in the first 10 months of 2025 increased in both volume and value compared to the same period of 2024.
