AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the Customs Department, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the UK market in the first 10 months of 2025 reached over 7 billion USD, an increase of 10.8% over the same period last year.

The leading export items in the first 10 months of 2025 were telephones of all kinds and components reached 1.21 billion USD, an increase of 17.3%, accounting for 17.3% of the proportion; followed by the group of computers, electronic products and components reached 1.06 billion USD, an increase of 56.6%, accounting for 15% of the proportion.
In the first 10 months of 2025, some items had a significant increase in export turnover compared to the same period last year: Toys, sports equipment and parts increased by 50.7%; coffee increased by 65%; cashew nuts increased by 36.1%; Fruits and vegetables increased by 51.2%; pepper increased by 74.6%.
The UKVFTA has become a bridge to bring Vietnam's strong goods to the UK market, helping to increase bilateral trade turnover. In particular, it is noted that the presence of Vietnamese brands varies by product group, reaching from 12% - 19%. The main export products are textiles, footwear, mechanical products, aquatic products, of which textiles, footwear, agricultural and aquatic products benefit the most.
With the tariff reduction roadmap of the UKVFTA, Vietnamese goods are gradually gaining a prominent advantage over similar products from other countries that do not have FTAs with the UK.
