AsemconnectVietnam - By October 15, the country had 7 export commodity groups with export turnover of 10 billion USD or more, according to the latest statistics of the Customs Department.

7 key export commodity groups include: computers, electronic products and components; phones of all kinds and components; machinery, equipment, spare parts; textiles and garments; footwear of all kinds; means of transport and spare parts; wood and wood products.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of commodity groups with turnover of 10 billion USD or more remained unchanged, but the positive point is that all groups achieved positive growth.
Specifically, computers, electronic products and components continued to lead the way with turnover reaching nearly 81.9 billion USD, up by 47.11% over the same period last year. This is also the commodity group with the strongest growth among the key commodity groups.
Telephones of all kinds and components ranked second with a turnover of approximately 46 billion USD, up by 4.69%; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached 45.43 billion USD, up by 12.89%; textiles and garments reached 31.24 billion USD, up by 8.15%; footwear of all kinds reached 18.7 billion USD, up by 7%; means of transport and spare parts reached 13.56 billion USD, up by 13.78%; wood and wood products reached 13.2 billion USD, up by 6.37%.
Notably, the 7 main commodity groups mentioned above alone accounted for 67.91% of the country's total export turnover.
The export markets for the above groups of goods were also very diverse and rich, from the United States to European countries, South Korea, China, Japan, etc.
In general, from the beginning of the year to October 15, the total export turnover of the whole country reached 368.13 billion USD, an increase of 16.14% over the same period last year.
