Vietnam’s animal feed market in October 2025: Prices continue to decline

 Wednesday, October 29,2025

AsemconnectVietnam - In the first months of 2025, animal feed prices in Vietnam have continued the downward trend seen in 2024, despite global economic uncertainties. Declining input material prices have helped reduce the prices of finished animal feed products.

In October, the price of feed for piglets (21% protein) fluctuated between 380,000 - 450,000 VND/25kg bag; the price of feed for porkers (18% protein) was at 330,000 - 400,000 VND/25kg bag; the price of feed for sows was at 360,000 - 420,000 VND/bag.
The price of feed for chicks has fluctuated between 350,000 - 430,000 VND/bag; the price of feed for broilers has been around 310,000 - 380,000 VND/bag; the price of feed for egg-laying hens: 340,000 - 410,000 VND/bag. The price of feed for ducklings, egg-laying ducks, and meat ducks: 320,000 - 420,000 VND/bag depending on the nutritional formula and brand. The price of aquatic feed (catfish, tilapia, snakehead fish): 320,000 - 450,000 VND/25kg bag. The market for raw materials such as rice bran and corn flour has fluctuated up and down depending on the type.
