AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 9 months of 2025, fertilizer exports reached nearly 1.67 million tonnes, worth of 703.34 million USD, up by 28.8% in volume, up by 32.5% in value compared to the first 9 months of 2024.

According to preliminary data from the Customs Department, in September of 2025, Vietnam exported 161,855 tonnes of fertilizer, worth of 79.18 million USD, with an average price of 489.2 USD/tonne, down by 20.9% in volume, down by 15.4% in turnover but up by 7.1% in price compared to August of 2025. Compared to September of 2024, it increased 26.8% in volume, up by 52.7% in turnover and up by 20.5% in price.
In the first 9 months of 2025, fertilizer exports reached nearly 1.67 million tonnes, worth of 703.34 million USD, with an average price of 422.4 USD/tonne, up by 28.8% in volume, 32.5% in turnover and 2.9% in price compared to the first 9 months of 2024. Vietnam's fertilizer exports were mostly to the Cambodian market, accounting for 33.5% in volume and 32.4% in turnover of the country's total fertilizer exports, reaching 557,884 tonnes, worth of 227.84 million USD, with an average price of 408.4 USD/tonne; increased by 33.2% in volume, increased by 30.8% in value but decreased by 1.8% in price compared to the first 9 months of 2024.
The second largest market was the South Korean market with 110,806 tonnes, worth of 45.77 million USD, average price of 413 USD/tonne; decreased by 24.1% in volume, decreased by 23.7% in turnover but increased by 0.6% in price, accounting for nearly 7% in both volume and turnover. The next was the Malaysian market with 94,971 tonnes, worth of 39.92 million USD, average price of 420.3 USD/tonne; increased by 3.2% in volume, increased by 13.8% in turnover and increased by 10.3% in price, accounting for nearly 6% in both volume and turnover.
In general, fertilizer exports to most markets in the first 9 months of 2025 increased in both volume and value compared to the same period of 2024.
