AsemconnectVietnam - By the end of September, Vietnam had 2 partners with an import-export turnover of more than 100 billion USD, which are China and the United States.
According to the latest statistics of the Customs Department, by the end of September, import-export between Vietnam and China reached more than 184 billion USD, an increase of 22.96% over the same period of 2024.
Of which, Vietnam's exports reached 49.62 billion USD, an increase of 11.25%.
The main export items to China include: computers, electronic products and components (12.54 billion USD); phones of all kinds and components (10.22 billion USD); fruits and vegetables (3.86 billion USD)...
On the contrary, imports from China reached 134.41 billion USD, up by 27.94%.
Mainly imported items include: computers, electronic products and components (38.37 billion USD); machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts (28.18 billion USD); fabrics of all kinds (7.68 billion USD).
Currently, China is the largest trading partner and also the market where Vietnam imports the most goods.
For the US market, by the end of September, imports and exports reached 126.43 billion USD, an impressive growth of 27.27% over the same period of 2024.
Of which, Vietnam's exports reached 112.77 billion USD, up by 27.74%. With this result, the US continued to maintain its position as Vietnam's largest export market.
The main export items include: textiles and garments (13.49 billion USD); computers, electronic products and components (30.28 billion USD); machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts (17.44 billion USD).
Meanwhile, imports from the United States reached 13.66 billion USD, up by 23.55%.
The main import items include: computers, electronic products and components (4 billion USD); machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts (915 million USD); cotton of all kinds (1.1 billion USD).
Over the past 9 months, the two major partners mentioned above accounted for 45.57% of the total import-export turnover of the country, of which China was 27% and the United States was 18.57%.
