HSC Securities (HCM) reports Q3/2025 profit doubles the same period

AsemconnectVietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC, HOSE: HCM) has just announced its business results with pre-tax profit in Q3/2025 reaching VND550 billion, maintaining growth momentum in its main business segments.
The average trading value of the entire market in Q3/2025 increased by 135%, reaching nearly VND44,000 billion/day. In that context, HSC's Q3 revenue reached VND1,389 billion, up 67% over the same period.
Revenue from securities brokerage activities reached VND507 billion, up 163% thanks to improved market liquidity and HSC's successful execution of large-scale securities distribution deals, typically the TCBS IPO deal as the exclusive distribution partner for institutional investors. At the end of the third quarter, HSC's brokerage market share reached 6.3%, maintaining its position in the top 5 brokerage market share on the HOSE.
Revenue from margin lending activities reached VND642 billion, up 34%. Lending capacity and income from this segment are expected to expand after the additional capital from the stock issuance recorded in October. Revenue from proprietary trading activities reached VND226 billion, up 49%. Most of HSC's portfolio focuses on safe and highly liquid assets. In the first 9 months of 2025, HSC recorded revenue of VND3,097 billion, profit of VND1,073 billion, respectively completing 70% and 67% of the yearly plan.
As of September 30, 2025, HSC's total assets reached VND44,762 billion, equity reached VND 10,624 billion. In the third quarter, HSC completed its public offering of shares to existing shareholders, successfully distributing nearly 360 million shares, reaching 100% of the total number of shares offered, earning nearly VND3,600 billion. The additional capital will be used to increase the scale of margin lending and proprietary trading activities, helping HSC increase its competitiveness and be ready to seize market opportunities in the coming time.
