AsemconnectVietnam - 3 months after the merger of provinces and cities, Bac Ninh province has continuously led the country in export turnover, helping this locality approach the No. 1 position of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the latest statistics of the Customs Department, in September, the whole country had 9/34 provinces and cities with export turnover of 1 billion USD or more.
In which, Bac Ninh took the lead with 9.77 billion USD. Notably, this is the fourth consecutive month (since the merger of provinces and cities) that this locality has led the country in export turnover.
The remaining 2 positions in the Top 3 were Ho Chi Minh City with 7.65 billion USD and Hai Phong with 4.34 billion USD.
The remaining positions were Dong Nai, Phu Tho, and Thai Nguyen.
Although Bac Ninh has been accelerating recently, after 9 months, Ho Chi Minh City still led the country in export turnover.
Specifically, after 9 months, Ho Chi Minh City's exports reached 68.65 billion USD. Meanwhile, Bac Ninh reached 67 billion USD; the third place was Hai Phong with 33.82 billion USD.
In addition to the 3 localities mentioned above, by the end of September, there were 6 provinces and cities with export turnover of 10 billion USD or more, including Dong Nai, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, Tay Ninh.
By the end of September, exports reached 348.74 billion USD, an increase of 16% over the same period last year. The 3 leading localities alone accounted for approximately 48.6%.
