AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the Vietnam Customs Department, the export turnover of goods to the Singapore market in the first 8 months of 2025 reached 3.87 billion USD, an increase of 11.7% over the same period last year.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the group of computers, electronic products and components was leading the export turnover with 982.3 million USD, an increase of 46.5% over the same period, accounting for 25.3% of the export proportion. Next is the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 631.8 million USD, an increase of 14.2%, accounting for 16.3% of the proportion.
Some items saw quite strong increase in export value in the first 8 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as phones of all kinds and components increased by 22.9%; electric wires and cables increased by 21.2%; wood and wood products increased by 22.9%; cashew nuts increased by 78.1%; pepper increased by 64.1%.
Singapore is a country with a developed economy among the most dynamic in the Asia-Pacific region, playing an important role in trade cooperation with Vietnam. Singapore's need to find and expand the market for supplying raw materials to replace the Chinese market is very large. Vietnam is one of the key markets to help Singapore make up for the shortage of goods, especially agricultural products, seafood, food and construction products.
