Outlook
The animal feed industry is expected to see more positive growth in 2025 compared to last year. With stable supply of raw materials and declining prices, domestic finished feed prices are likely to remain on a downward trend.
Under Decree 73/2025/ND-CP, Vietnam reduced preferential import tariffs on several items: corn from 2% to 0%, and soybean meal from 1–2% to 0%.
As a result, soybean imports are forecast to continue rising in 2025, mainly due to stronger demand for feed and lower tariff barriers, especially for imports from the US.
