VNPT and LPBank sign comprehensive cooperation agreement

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Loc Phat Bank (LPBank) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, opening a new phase in the cooperation strategy between a key state-owned technology group in the field of telecommunications and information technology, a pioneer in digital transformation, and a leading joint stock commercial bank in Vietnam.
Promoting strengths, resonating values, improving customer experience
According to the agreement, VNPT and LPBank commit to prioritizing the use of each other's services on the principle of price competition and ensuring service quality. Specifically, LPBank will exploit telecommunications - information technology solutions from VNPT such as: Solution set to improve customer experience; Solution set to serve digitalization of internal management; solutions to ensure information security; eKYC and telecommunications services, digital TV channels, transmission infrastructure. In return, VNPT will expand the use of financial services provided by LPBank, from credit, account management and centralized capital, payment, deposit to other financial - investment services.
Not only stopping at using mutual services, the cooperation agreement also aims to develop integrated products, bringing direct value to customers such as: linking VNPT Money e-wallet with LPBank accounts; Mobile products, digital signatures for individual customers integrated with the Bank's products... This combination not only helps maximize the experience for millions of individual and corporate customers but also brings added value to the entire ecosystem of both parties, contributing to promoting comprehensive finance, encouraging cashless payments, and improving competitiveness in the market.
The signing of this Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement is a continuation and further development of the cooperative relationship that has been built and nurtured over the years, affirming the role of comprehensive partners, long-term interests, and practical results for both sides.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ho Nam Tien - Permanent Vice Chairman of LPBank's Board of Directors emphasized that after nearly two decades of construction and development, LPBank has affirmed its position as one of the leading financial institutions in Vietnam. With a strong orientation towards digital banking development, LPBank is gradually innovating to meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers, making a positive contribution to the economy. On the VNPT side, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem - Member of the Board of Members, General Director of VNPT said that as a leading technology group in Vietnam, VNPT has an advantage because it has a lot of experience in implementing digital transformation for the government and businesses. With that experience, VNPT Group is confident that it will successfully implement the digital transformation process with LPBank.

VNPT Group also commits to mobilizing the best team of experts to accompany LPBank in the digital transformation process,” Mr. Liem emphasized.
Comprehensive cooperation between VNPT and LPBank not only demonstrates the connection between banks and businesses in maximizing each other's advantages, is the resonance of strength to create a comprehensive service ecosystem to improve customer experience, promote national digital transformation but also is an action program to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation of the two businesses.
