AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the Customs Department, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands in the first 8 months of 2025 reached 8.6 billion USD, up by 2.4% over the same period last year.

Leading the export turnover in the first 8 months of 2025 was the group of goods: Computers, electronic products and components reached 2.1 billion USD, up by 2.2% over the same period last year, accounting for 24.4% of the total export value. The next was the group of goods, machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached 1.4 billion USD, down by 7.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 16.8% of the proportion.
Some items saw increase in export turnover to the Dutch market in the first 8 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as coffee increased by 93.9%; toys, sports equipment and parts increased by 62.7%; vegetables and fruits increased by 36.8%; wood and wood products increased by 24.3%.
The Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transit point in Europe and the world for vegetables and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable and fruit trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import capacity from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years.
