AsemconnectVietnam - Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2, code TV2 - HOSE) will establish a subsidiary from two branches: Electromechanical and Power Plant Operation & Maintenance Branch.

PECC2 approved the establishment of PECC2 Energy Engineering and Services Company Limited on the basis of conversion, receiving all personnel, capacity, experience, assets, capital, functions, tasks, rights and obligations of the Electromechanical Branch and the Power Plant Operation & Maintenance Branch.
The new legal entity has a charter capital of VND69 billion and PECC2 owns 100% of the charter capital.
In terms of business activities, in the second quarter of 2025, PECC2 recorded revenue of VND 215.8 billion, down 40.5% over the same period; Profit after tax reached VND5.74 billion, down 38.3% year-on-year. Of which, gross profit margin improved from 11.1% to 16.4%. During the period, due to the decline in revenue, gross profit also decreased by 12.1% year-on-year, equivalent to a decrease of VND4.88 billion, to VND35.48 billion; financial revenue decreased by 21.4%, equivalent to a decrease of VND0.76 billion, to VND2.79 billion; financial expenses decreased by 48.8%, equivalent to a decrease of VND1.23 billion, to VND1.29 billion; sales and business management expenses increased by 163%, equivalent to an increase of VND22.18 billion, to VND35.79 billion; profit from joint ventures and associates was recorded as positive at VND6.62 billion compared to a loss of VND13.75 billion in the same period, an increase of VND20.37 billion.
In addition, in terms of core business activities (gross profit - financial expenses - sales & administrative expenses), in the second quarter, PECC2 recorded a loss of VND1.6 billion compared to the same period with a profit of VND24.23 billion, a decrease of VND25.83 billion.
Thus, the gross profit generated by PECC2 in the second quarter was not enough to cover financial, sales and administrative expenses. The Company made a profit mainly thanks to the sudden increase in profits from joint ventures and associates.
In the first half of 2025, PECC2 recorded revenue of VND515.69 billion, down 14.2% over the same period, profit after tax of VND20.24 billion, down 40.3% over the same period last year.
In 2025, PECC2 plans to do business with a total revenue of VND1,362 billion, expected profit after tax of VND55.04 billion.
Thus, ending the first half of 2025 with a profit after tax of VND20.24 billion, PECC2 has only completed 36.8% compared to the same period last year.
