Sao Ta (FMC) August sales increased by 32% over the same period

AsemconnectVietnam - Sao Ta Food Joint Stock Company (code FMC) has just announced its August 2025 operating report with total sales estimated at USD40.16 million, up 32% over the same period.
During the month, finished shrimp output reached 2,888 tons, equal to 84% over the same period last year, while finished agricultural products reached 88 tons, double the same period. Regarding consumption, FMC sold 2,956 tons of finished shrimp, up 8% and 118 tons of agricultural products, up slightly 2% over the same period in 2024.
The Company's consolidated revenue in August reached USD40.16 million, up 32% over the same period last year. Accumulated in 8 months, the total sales of the enterprise are estimated at USD214 million.
Regarding shrimp farming activities, Sao Ta said that the Company is renovating and preparing conditions for a new farming season when the weather is favorable again.
Previously, FMC announced its financial report for the second quarter of 2025 with revenue reaching VND1,876.44 billion, an increase of 51% compared to the second quarter of 2024; profit after tax reached VND101.6 billion, an increase of 21.8%. According to the company's explanation, the positive business performance in the second quarter was mainly due to the increase in sales as well as effective shrimp farming activities.
Accumulated in the first half of the year, Sao Ta recorded a 43% increase in revenue, reaching VND3,867 billion, while profit after tax remained unchanged at VND139.3 billion, equivalent to completing 59% of the revenue plan and 32.6% of the profit plan for the whole year.
According to a recent update from Bao Viet Securities, Sao Ta Food has enough orders until the end of 2025. For the US market, the company's management board has a policy of not signing many export contracts to this market to limit tariff risks, only selectively signing contracts with long-term customers. In addition, the Company has proactively set aside provisions for costs related to anti-subsidy, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties on shipments exported to the US.
