AsemconnectVietnam - Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Global, stock code: VGI) announced its audited consolidated business results for the first 6 months of 2025. Both revenue and profit grew strongly.

In the first half of 2025, consolidated profit after tax reached VND3,267 billion, up 14% over the same period. Viettel Global's consolidated net revenue reached more than VND20,260 billion, up 22% over the same period in 2024, nearly 5 times higher than the world's telecommunications growth rate (4.7% according to GSMA). In particular, all markets of Viettel Global had good revenue growth, notably Lumitel in Burundi +42%, Halotel in Tanzania +30%, Natcom in Haiti +28%.
In terms of financial structure, Viettel Global's equity has reached VND39,152 billion, an increase of more than VND3,300 billion compared to the beginning of the year.
In addition to the traditional telecommunications sector, Viettel Global's market companies have always demonstrated their mission of leading technology in investment markets starting from 3G, rapidly developing 4G, and pioneering the provision of 5G.
August 2025 marked an important event when Telemor - Viettel's brand in Timor-Leste - officially launched 5G service. Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão affirmed: "Telemor's innovations and creations have been contributing to making the lives of Timor-Leste people more convenient and connected. After 13 years of presence, Telemor is opening a new future for Timor-Leste with 5G technology". The project in Timor-Leste has demonstrated the effectiveness of Viettel's international investment with a return on investment of up to 215%. Currently, Viettel Global has officially started 5G business in 3 markets: Laos, Peru and Timor Leste.
In addition to business results, Viettel Global and its Market Companies have recorded high achievements in the international arena when they won 23 prestigious awards in the first half of 2025 alone. The awards recognized the achievements in business strategy, digital transformation and corporate social responsibility activities of this enterprise.
