Vietjet (VJC) makes a strong breakthrough in the first 6 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) announced its audited financial report for the first six months of 2025 with outstanding growth results, affirming its international stature, attracting investment, and building Vietnam into a driving force for aviation development in the region and the world.

Solid financial growth
Air transport revenue reached VND35,601 billion, pre-tax profit was nearly VND1,600 billion, up 37% over the same period. Consolidated revenue was VND35,837 billion, pre-tax profit was over VND1,651 billion, up 65%.
Vietjet operated 79,000 flights, transported 14.4 million passengers, and contributed more than VND4,528 billion in taxes and fees to the State budget. Healthy financial indicators, good liquidity, consolidated assets exceeding VND112,000 billion.
Investing in a modern fleet, making a global mark
In six months, Vietjet ordered 20 A330neo aircraft from Airbus, bringing the total number of A330neo aircraft ordered to 40, becoming the airline with the largest A330neo order in the world.
At the Paris Air Show 2025, Vietjet signed a historic order for 100 A321neo aircraft with 50 purchase options - the largest deal in the industry, putting Vietjet in the Top 10 airlines with the largest ordered fleet globally.
Vietjet and Rolls-Royce have also signed an order for 40 more Trent 7000 engines to operate 20 Airbus A330neo wide-body aircraft, bringing the total number of Trent 7000 engines that Vietjet has ordered to 80.
Starting a strategic project in Long Thanh
Vietjet officially started construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center in Long Thanh, including hangars 3 and 4, capable of simultaneously maintaining 10 aircraft according to international standards. This is a key project in a series of 80 projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day.
In parallel, Vietjet has deployed self-service ground handling at major airports, improving service quality, optimizing operations and bringing outstanding experiences to passengers.
Affirming international stature, attracting investment
Vietjet was honored by AirlineRatings as "The World's Best Low-Cost Airline". Forbes Vietnam ranks Vietjet in the Top 5 enterprises with the highest revenue in 2024 and the Top 50 best listed companies in 2025.
With a strong financial foundation, modern fleet strategy and key infrastructure projects, Vietjet is ready to make a breakthrough in the second half of 2025, aiming for sustainable development and global expansion, affirming its international stature, attracting investment, and building Vietnam into a driving force for aviation development in the region and the world.
