AsemconnectVietnam - According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, in the first 7 months of 2025, the country's fruit and vegetable export reached nearly 3.87 billion USD, down by 0.3% compared to the first 7 months of 2024.

In July of 2025 alone, the country’s exports of fruits and vegetalbes reached 764.84 million USD, down by 5.2% compared to June of 2025 but up sharply by 38.5% compared to July of 2024.
China was still the main market for Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports, accounting for 54.7% of the country's total fruit and vegetable export turnover. In the first 7 months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports to this market reached over 2.11 billion USD, down by 15.1% compared to the first 7 months of 2024. In July of 2025 alone, the exports of fruits and vegetables reached 481.88 million USD, down by 8.4% compared to June of 2025 but up sharply by 45.7% compared to July of 2024.
Following the main market China was the US market reaching over 315.87 million USD, up sharply by 66.8% compared to the first 7 months of 2024, accounting for 8.2%; the exports to South Korea reached 183.73 million USD, down slightly by 2.8%, accounting for 4.8%; to Japan reached 141.89 million USD, up by 20.7%, accounting for 3.7%; to Taiwan reached 96.6 million USD, up by 13.5%, accounting for 2.5%..
In general, fruit and vegetable exports to most markets in the first 7 months of 2025 increased in turnover compared to the first 7 months of 2024.
