Vietnam - Netherlands trade exchange in July and the first 7 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to data from the Vietnam Customs, in the first 7 months of 2025, two-way trade exchange between Vietnam and the Netherlands reached 7.92 billion USD, of which Vietnam's exports to the Netherlands reached 7.45 billion USD, and Vietnam's imports of goods from the Netherlands reached nearly 469 million USD.

Vietnam achieved a surplus of over 6.98 billion USD in trade exchange with the Dutch market in the first 7 months of 2025. In July of 2025 alone, the trade exchange between Vietnam and the Netherlands reached nearly 1.26 billion USD, of which exports reached over 1.19 billion USD, imports reached over 62 million USD, Vietnam achieved a trade surplus of over 1.13 million USD in trade exchange with the Dutch market in July of 2025.
Exports Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands  in the first 7 months of 2025
In the first 7 months of 2025, Vietnam's export turnover to the Netherlands reached nearly 7.5 billion USD, up by 2.6% compared to the same period in 2024. Computers, electronic products and components were the largest export items to the Dutch market in the first 7 months of 2025 with a turnover of nearly 1.8 billion USD, while machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts were the second largest export items of Vietnam to the Dutch market with an export value of 1.3 billion USD.
Other items such as footwear, textiles, phones and components, and agricultural products such as cashew nuts and coffee are also key items of Vietnam exported to the Dutch market in the first 7 months of 2025.

Imports of Dutch goods into Vietnam in the first 7 months of 2025
 
According to data from the Vietnam Customs Department, in the first 7 months of 2025, Vietnam's import turnover of goods from the Netherlands reached over 468.6 million USD, an increase of 11.88% over the same period in 2024. In July of 2025 alone, Vietnam's import turnover of goods from the Netherlands reached over 62.4 million USD, a decrease of 12% compared to July of 2024.
 
Machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts were the leading items in terms of import turnover of goods from Vietnam from the Netherlands in the first 7 months of 2025 with a value of over 111.5 million USD, an increase of 38.89% over the same period in 2024. The next was the group of pharmaceutical products with a turnover value of nearly 55.9 million USD, an increase of over 25% over the same period in 2024.
