In June 2025 alone, exports reached 806.88 million USD, up sharply by 30.9% compared to May of 2025 and up by 20.3% compared to June of 2024.
China was still the main market for Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports, accounting for 52.6% of the country's total fruit and vegetable export turnover. In the first 6 months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports to this market reached nearly 1.64 billion USD, down by 24.4% compared to the first 6 months of 2024; In June 2025 alone, exports reached 525.98 million USD, an increase of 57.7% compared to May of 2025 and an increase of 16.5% compared to June of 2024.
Following the main market of China was the US market reaching nearly 261.63 million USD, a sharp increase of 66% compared to the first 6 months of 2024, accounting for 8.4%; South Korea reached 157.68 million USD, a slight decrease of 3.9%, accounting for 5.1%; Japan reached 121.84 million USD, an increase of 23%, accounting for 3.9%; the Netherlands reached 79.73 million USD, an increase of 33%, accounting for 2.6%.
In general, fruit and vegetable exports to most markets in the first 6 months of 2025 increased in turnover compared to the first 6 months of 2024.
