AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the Customs Department, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole country exported 57,897 tonnes of tea of all kinds, equivalent to 96.49 million USD, with an average price of 1,666.6 USD/tonne, down 6.6% in volume, down 8.9% in value and down 2.5% in price compared to the first 6 months of 2024.

In June 2025 alone, 11,438 tonnes of tea were exported, reaching 20 million USD, with a price of 1,748 USD/tonne, up 6.2% in volume, up 7.2% in value and up 0.9% in price compared to May 2025; But compared to June 2024, it decreased in both volume, turnover and price, with corresponding decreases of 18.2%, 25.7% and 9.2%. Vietnam's tea exports to Pakistan account for the largest share, accounting for 31% of the total volume and 35.7% of the total tea export turnover of the country, reaching 18,024 tonnes, equivalent to 34.44 million USD, with an average price of 1,911 USD/tonne, up 12.2% in volume, up 2.4% in turnover but down 8.7% in price compared to the first 6 months of 2024. In June 2025 alone, tea exports to this market reached 4,217 tonnes, equivalent to 8.28 million USD, with an average price of 1,965 USD/tonne, up 18.4% in volume, up 18.8% in turnover and up 0.4% in price compared to May 2025. Taiwan ranked second, accounting for over 10.7% of the total volume and 11.4% of the total tea export turnover of the country, reaching 6,212 tonnes, equivalent to 10.96 million USD, with an average price of 1,765 USD/tonne, down 8.1% in volume, down 3.7% in turnover but up 4.9% in price. Next is the Chinese market, accounting for 10.7% of the total volume and 9.7% in total turnover, reaching 6,170 tonnes, equivalent to 9.37 million USD, with an average price of 1,518 USD/tonne, down 2.1% in volume, but up 0.7% in turnover and up 2.9% in price.
