AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 6 months of 2025, the country exported 693,826 tonnes of rubber, with a turnover of 1.29 billion USD, down by 4.5% in volume, but up by 16.3% in turnover compared to the first 6 months of 2024.

According to data from the General Department of Customs, in June of 2025, Vietnam exported 143,888 tonnes of rubber, with a turnover of 239.92 million USD, an average price of 1,667 USD/tonne, up by 47.8% in volume, up by 37.2% in turnover but down by 7.2% in price compared to May of 2025. In comparison to June of 2024, it decreased by 6.3% in volume, decreased by 2.9% in turnover but increased by 3.6% in price.
In the first 6 months of 2025, rubber exports reached 693,826 tonnes, with the turnover of 1.29 billion USD, the average price of 1,856 USD/tonne, down by 4.5% in volume, but up by 16.3% in turnover and 21.8% in price compared to the first 6 months of 2024. Vietnam's rubber was mainly exported to China, accounting for 70% in volume and 69.3% in turnover of the country's total rubber exports, reaching 485,465 tonnes, with the turnover of 892.54 million USD, the average price of 1,838.5 USD/tonne; down by 0.8% in volume, but up by 24.3% in turnover and up by 25.3% in price compared to the first 6 months of 2024.
Behind the main market China were India reached 34,640 tonnes, the turnover of 67.01 million USD, average price of 1,934.5 USD/tonne; down sharply by 40.4% in volume, down by 29% in turnover but up by 19.2% in price; South Korea reached 20,457 tonnes, with the turnover of 41.29 million USD, the average price of 2,018 USD/tonne, down by 14% in volume, up by 4.1% in turnover and up by 21% in price; and Indonesia reached 19,609 tonnes, turnover of 37.32 million USD, average price of 1,903 USD/tonne; increased by 100.5% in volume, 107.4% in value and 3.4% in price. In general, in the first 6 months of 2025, rubber exports to most markets increased in value compared to the same period of 2024.
