FPT Telecom (FOX) increased 21% in after-tax profit in Q2/2025

AsemconnectVietnam - FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom, code FOX) has just announced its financial statements for the second quarter and the first half of the year with pre-tax profit reaching VND2,096 billion, completing half of the annual profit target.
According to the financial statements for the second quarter of 2025, FOX's net revenue reached VND4,775 billion, up 13% over the same period, while the cost of goods sold increased by only 8%, to VND2,367 billion, so the company's gross profit increased by 19%, reaching VND2,408 billion.
This period, FOX's financial revenue increased by 22%, reaching VND215.3 billion. FOX's expenses also increased sharply, of which: financial expenses increased by 10%, to VND106.2 billion; Selling expenses increased by 24% to VND820.4 billion and business management expenses increased by 11% to VND573.6 billion.
As a result, the Company's profit after tax increased by 21% in the second quarter of 2025, reaching VND903.2 billion. FOX said that the positive business results came from continuing to improve the quality of transmission infrastructure, promoting customer care, optimizing costs, improving labor productivity and financial performance.
In the first half of the year, FOX achieved VND9,357.2 billion in net revenue and VND1,676 billion in profit after tax, up 13% and 19% respectively over the same period last year.
At the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, FOX approved a business plan with revenue of VND19,900 billion and pre-tax profit of VND4,200 billion, up 13% and 17% respectively compared to the results of 2024. With pre-tax profit of VND 2,096 billion, the Company has completed half of the annual profit target.
In another development, on July 16, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) completed the handover of all State capital at FOX to the Ministry of Public Security. Of which, SCIC holds more than 50% of FOX's capital.
