PVCFC (DCM) exports another 30,000 tons of fertilizer to Australia
Tuesday, July 29,2025
AsemconnectVietnam - In July 2025, Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC, HOSE: DCM) continued to promote its export activities with a shipment of 30,000 tons of fertilizer to the Australian market, which is considered one of the countries with the strictest technical barriers in the world.
This is a key shipment deployed after PVCFC achieved Level One certification in March 2025 - the highest level in Australia's inorganic fertilizer import control system. The certificate was granted by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) after a comprehensive on-site assessment of PVCFC's production - packaging - biological quarantine system, turning this enterprise into a "pioneer" of Vietnam in the fertilizer industry in the land of kangaroos.
When achieving this certificate, Ca Mau Fertilizer products will be exempted from inspection at the port of arrival, significantly reducing logistics time and costs. Ca Mau Urea is also ranked in the highest standard group, qualified for distribution at better prices.
From a modern factory system located in Ca Mau, PVCFC's products are now present in nearly 20 countries and territories with a total export output of more than 300,000 tons in 2024. In the first 7 months of 2025 alone, the total consolidated revenue is estimated at VND10,541 billion, up 24% compared to the plan, up 37% compared to the same period in 2024, consolidated pre-tax profit is estimated at VND1,417.58 billion, up 191% compared to the plan and up 39% compared to the same period.
In the context of fierce competition in the domestic market and the global trend of shifting to green - clean - transparent agricultural products, PVCFC's firm position in the domestic market and successful expansion internationally is consolidating its position as a leading enterprise in the industry. At the same time, the continued export of an additional 30,000 tons to Australia is convincing evidence that Vietnamese fertilizers are fully competitive in developed markets – with the most stringent global standards.
