AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, domestic rice prices remained mostly stable, with a VND 50/kg drop in OM 380 raw rice on July 18, 2025.
Paddy (fresh) prices in the Mekong Delta:
· OM 18: VND6,000–6,200/kg
· OM 5451: VND5,900–6,000/kg
· IR 50404: VND5,700–5,800/kg
· Đài Thơm 8: VND6,100–6,200/kg
· Nàng Hoa 9: VND6,000–6,200/kg
Raw rice prices:
· OM 380: VND7,700–7,800/kg (down VND50)
· CL 555: VND8,250–8,350/kg
· OM 18: VND9,600–9,700/kg
· IR 504: VND7,600–7,700/kg
Export rice prices (VFA):
· 5% broken: USD377/ton
· 25% broken: USD357/ton
· 100% broken: USD317/ton
Market transactions remained slow, with steady retail prices for all rice types.
