To promote the image of Hai Phong city to international friends, the municipal People's Committee has launched an exhibition highlighting the city’s economic potential and specialities.
The event is being held from July 16 to 18 at the Pullman Hotel as part of the third meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3).
The exhibition features seven modern booths in a 375 sqm space, designed to showcase the locality’s dynamic and friendly image, as well as its strong socio-economic growth and potential for investment and tourism. Attendees can interact with touch screens and watch videos about the city’s development, particularly in areas like seaport logistics and digital transformation.
Pham Thi To Trang, Deputy Director of Hai Phong’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, shared that the department’s booth emphasises the cultural heritage of the region, featuring local arts, traditions, and tourism highlights. Daily live demonstrations, such as To he (toy figurine making), calligraphy, and traditional puppetry, will also be featured to honour Hai Phong’s culture.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is presenting local agricultural specialities such as rice, chrysanthemum tea, forest honey, dried lychees, and green bean cakes, along with products from Chu Dau ceramic village.

In addition, ABAC members SaigonInvest and Sovico also have their booths, presenting their business projects and strengths.
