Global market:

• On the New York ICE, Arabica for September 2025 rose 15.35 cents/lb to 301.85 cents/lb, and December 2025 increased 14.4 cents/lb to 294.85 cents/lb.

According to a report by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Brazil’s coffee production in the 2025–2026 crop year (from July 2025 to June 2026) is expected to rise slightly to 65 million 60-kg bags, up 0.5% from the 2024–2025 season.
USDA also raised its forecast for Vietnam’s coffee output in 2025–2026 by 1.85 million tonnes, nearly a 7% increase year-on-year – the highest in the last four years.
According to Reuters, the United States’ new tariffs on top supplier Brazil may trigger short-term competition for supply in the world’s largest consuming market. However, traders warned that the long-term impact could be negative, as high tariffs may suppress demand.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE), Vietnam exported an estimated 953,900 tonnes of coffee worth 5.45 billion USD in the first six months of 2025, increasing by 5.3% in volume and 67.5% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
The average export price surged by 59.1% year-on-year, reaching 5,708 USD per tonne.
Germany, Italy and Spain remained Vietnam’s top three coffee importers, accounting for 16.3, 7.9, and 7.4% of total exports respectively. Notably, export value to Germany more than doubled in the first five months of the year, while Italy saw a 45.1% rise and Spain 55.8%.
