AsemconnectVietnam - Petroleum Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC, HOSE: DCM) has strengthened cooperation with Wuhuan Engineering Co. (WEC) - a member unit of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation (CNCEC) - within the framework of a high-level business trip to China from June 24 to 27, 2025.

The business trip is part of the working program of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) delegation led by General Director Le Ngoc Son, accompanying the Prime Minister to attend the 16th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Tianjin, China (WEF 16 Tianjin).
In Tianjin City, the PVCFC delegation led by General Director Van Tien Thanh had a working session with WEC and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral cooperation in three key areas.
Firstly, research and development of valuable, environmentally friendly projects, including: Increasing the capacity of CO for food use - a solution for recovering and using CO in clean industry; Production of industrial gases (Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon) - serving healthcare, food processing and new energy; Manufacturing of fertilizers and special chemicals such as SOP, MKP, NH₄Cl - a trend of replacing traditional fertilizers with safer products for soil and crops; Production of methanol from biomass - one of the renewable energy orientations that is focused on globally.
Secondly, technical cooperation in improving and upgrading the Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant, towards increasing automation, optimizing energy, in line with the trend of industry 4.0.
Third, expanding the role of providing technical services internationally: PVCFC will directly participate in the operation and maintenance (O&M) packages at projects implemented by WEC in the future, demonstrating the recognition of the unit's international standard technical capacity.
From a traditional fertilizer factory, PVCFC is gradually repositioning itself into a multi-value enterprise, developing a comprehensive ecosystem of products, technologies and technical services towards sustainability and regional integration.
In the context of the chemical - fertilizer industry being restructured towards green sustainability and global connectivity, this cooperation step has contributed to affirming that PVCFC is gradually becoming a valuable link in the international chemical industry cooperation network - where Vietnam is no longer a receiving point, but a capable partner to develop technology together.
