In the first 5 months of 2025, the group of computers, electronic products and components was leading the export turnover with 526.7 million USD, an increase of 30% over the same period, accounting for 22.5% of the export proportion. The next was the group of means of transport and spare parts reaching 409.9 million USD, an increase of 59.1% over the same period, accounting for 17.5% of the proportion.
Some items with export value increased quite strongly in the 3 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, including glass and glass products increased by 24.4%; petroleum products of all kinds increased by 161.6%; electric wires and cables increased by 51%; iron and steel products increased by 39.2%; wood and wood products increased by 57.4%; cashew nuts increased by 84.1%; pepper increased by 95.2%; rubber products increased by 33%.
Singapore is a country with a developed economy among the most dynamic in the Asia-Pacific region, playing an important role in trade cooperation with Vietnam. Singapore's need to find and expand the market for supplying raw materials to replace the Chinese market is very large.
