Rice prices Today, June 27: Slight increase recorded

AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, As of June 27, 2025, domestic rice prices have seen a slight increase of 50 VND/kg for some varieties. The dry paddy market remains sluggish, but prices are holding steady.
In the Mekong Delta, the rice market showed little fluctuation today. Overall trading volume is low, and most domestic rice prices remain stable. However, some raw rice varieties have inched up compared to yesterday.
According to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang Province, paddy prices are as follows:
- OM 18 (fresh): 6,000 – 6,200 VND/kg
- Đài Thơm 8 (fresh): 6,000 – 6,200 VND/kg
- OM 5451 (fresh): 5,900 – 6,100 VND/kg
- OM 504 (fresh): 5,500 VND/kg
- IR 50404 (fresh): 5,300 – 5,500 VND/kg
- Nàng Hoa 9: 6,650 – 6,750 VND/kg
In many provinces, dry paddy trading is slow, but prices remain stable. Summer-Autumn paddy trading is more active with firm prices.
- In Đồng Tháp, farmers have slightly raised their paddy offers, and trading is ongoing.
- In Hậu Giang, harvest volume is decent, and traders are actively buying, though prices remain mostly unchanged.
- In An Giang, farmers are offering high prices for Summer-Autumn paddy, but actual transactions are few, and prices are stable.
- In Cần Thơ, many fields have already been harvested, leading to low activity and little price change.
- In Kiên Giang, harvest volume is trickling in, and transactions are stable with firm prices.
Regarding milled rice, An Giang reports the following raw rice prices:
- IR 504: 8,100 – 8,200 VND/kg (↑ 50 VND/kg)
- CL 555: 8,300 – 8,400 VND/kg (↑ 50 VND/kg)
- OM 380: 7,850 – 7,900 VND/kg
- 5451: 9,100 – 9,150 VND/kg
- OM 18: 10,200 – 10,400 VND/kg
Finished rice prices: - OM 380: 8,800 – 9,000 VND/kg
- IR 504: 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg
By-products are priced between 7,400 – 10,000 VND/kg.
- Fragrant broken rice (tấm thơm): 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg (↑ 50 VND/kg)
- Bran (cám): 9,000 – 10,000 VND/kg
Local markets report low rice supply, mainly concentrated at large warehouses.
- Varieties such as 50404 and OM 380 are limited in availability, with firm prices, but warehouses are buying slowly.
- In An Giang, trading has improved slightly, with steady prices.
- In Lấp Vò (Đồng Tháp) and Sa Đéc (Đồng Tháp), rice is arriving gradually, prices are mostly stable, and trading remains consistent.
- At the Sa Đéc market, warehouse and market buyers are purchasing steadily, and prices remain unchanged.
- In An Cư (Cái Bè, Tiền Giang), low rice volume and sluggish transactions continue, with little price movement.
At retail markets, rice prices are flat compared to yesterday:
- Nàng Nhen: 28,000 VND/kg (highest listed)
- Hương Lài: 22,000 VND/kg
- Thai fragrant long-grain rice: 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg
- Nàng Hoa: 21,000 VND/kg
- Taiwanese fragrant rice: 20,000 VND/kg
- Jasmine fragrant rice: 16,000 – 18,000 VND/kg
- Common white rice: 16,000 VND/kg
- Regular rice: 13,000 – 14,000 VND/kg
- Regular Sóc rice: 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg
- Thai Sóc rice: 20,000 VND/kg
- Japanese rice: 22,000 VND/kg
On the export market, Vietnam’s rice export prices remain unchanged from yesterday.
