AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, as of June 26, rice export prices recorded a sharp decrease of 2–3 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the domestic dry paddy market remains slow-moving with stable prices.

In the Mekong Delta region, rice and paddy prices showed little fluctuation today. Market supply is limited, and domestic rice prices remain relatively stable. However, several export rice categories saw significant drops compared to yesterday and the weekend.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang Province, raw rice prices are currently as follows:
• IR 504 raw rice: 8,050 – 8,150 VND/kg
• OM 380 raw rice: 7,850 – 7,900 VND/kg
• 5451 raw rice: 9,100 – 9,150 VND/kg
• CL 555 raw rice: 8,250 – 8,350 VND/kg
• OM 18 raw rice: 10,200 – 10,400 VND/kg
• OM 380 finished rice: 8,800 – 9,000 VND/kg
• IR 504 finished rice: 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg
As for by-products, prices range from 7,340 to 10,000 VND/kg. Specifically:
• Aromatic broken rice: 7,350 – 7,500 VND/kg
• Broken rice: 9,000 – 10,000 VND/kg
In various localities today, rice arrivals were concentrated in major warehouses. Supply of 50404 and OM 380 varieties was limited, prices were stable, and warehouse purchases remained slow.
In An Giang, trading was sluggish with little price movement.
In Lấp Vò (Đồng Tháp), supply was limited, and prices remained mostly unchanged.
In Sa Đéc (Đồng Tháp), prices were flat across varieties, and trading was steady.
At Sa Đéc Market Channel (Đồng Tháp), though supply was limited, warehouses continued to make regular purchases.
At retail markets, rice prices remained unchanged from yesterday. Current prices:
• Nàng Nhen rice: 28,000 VND/kg (highest)
• Hương Lài rice: 22,000 VND/kg
• Thai fragrant long-grain rice: 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg
• Nàng Hoa rice: 21,000 VND/kg
• Taiwanese fragrant rice: 20,000 VND/kg
• Jasmine fragrant rice: 16,000 – 18,000 VND/kg
• Common white rice: 16,000 VND/kg
• Regular rice: 13,000 – 14,000 VND/kg
• Regular Sóc rice: 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg
• Thai Sóc rice: 20,000 VND/kg
• Japanese rice: 22,000 VND/kg
Regarding paddy, according to An Giang’s Department of Agriculture and Environment, prices for fresh paddy are as follows:
• OM 18: 6,000 – 6,200 VND/kg
• Đài Thơm 8: 6,000 – 6,200 VND/kg
• OM 5451: 5,900 – 6,100 VND/kg
• OM 504: 5,500 VND/kg
• IR 50404: 5,300 – 5,500 VND/kg
• Nàng Hoa 9: 6,650 – 6,750 VND/kg
Across multiple provinces today, the dry paddy market remained slow-moving and prices were stable. The summer-autumn paddy trade showed signs of improvement, but prices held steady.
In An Giang, farmers continued to offer summer-autumn paddy at high prices, but actual trading remained limited, and fresh paddy prices fluctuated slightly.
In Hậu Giang, harvest volumes were decent, traders actively sought purchases, and prices were mostly stable.
In Cần Thơ, many fields had already been harvested, with residual volumes still being sold at stable prices.
In Kiên Giang, harvest volumes were limited, but trading was steady and prices remained stable.
In Đồng Tháp, summer-autumn paddy demand improved, and prices were relatively steady.
On the export market, Vietnam’s rice export prices continued to decline compared to yesterday and the weekend. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA):
• 5% broken rice: 383 USD/ton (down 3 USD/ton)
• 25% broken rice: 358 USD/ton (down 3 USD/ton)
• 100% broken rice: 317 USD/ton (down 2 USD/ton)
