AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, domestic rice prices on June 24 saw little change. Trading activity for dried paddy was quiet, and prices remained flat.
According to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang Province, raw rice prices are currently as follows:
- IR 504: 8,050 – 8,150 VND/kg
- OM 380: 7,850 – 7,900 VND/kg
- 5451: 9,100 – 9,150 VND/kg
- CL 555: 8,250 – 8,350 VND/kg
- OM 18: 10,200 – 10,400 VND/kg
Finished rice prices:
- OM 380: 8,800 – 9,000 VND/kg
- IR 504: 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg
By-products are ranging from 7,400 – 10,000 VND/kg:
- Broken rice (OM 5451): 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg
- Rice bran: 9,000 – 10,000 VND/kg
Reports from various localities today show that IR 50404 and OM 380 varieties are in low supply, with stable prices and sluggish market demand.
In An Giang, trading is quiet with little price movement.
In Lấp Vò (Đồng Tháp), low supply and steady rice prices were recorded.
In Sa Đéc (Đồng Tháp), prices remained stable with slow trading.
At the Sa Đéc market, incoming volume was limited, trading remained sluggish, and rice prices held steady.
In An Cư (Cái Bè, Tiền Giang), market activity was quiet with limited supply and stable prices.
In An Giang, trading is quiet with little price movement.
In Lấp Vò (Đồng Tháp), low supply and steady rice prices were recorded.
In Sa Đéc (Đồng Tháp), prices remained stable with slow trading.

- Long-grain fragrant Thai rice: 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg
- Nàng Hoa: 21,000 VND/kg
- Fragrant Taiwanese rice: 20,000 VND/kg
- Jasmine rice: 16,000 – 18,000 VND/kg
- Common white rice: 16,000 VND/kg
- Regular rice: 13,000 – 14,000 VND/kg
- Regular Soc rice: 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg
- Thai Soc rice: 20,000 VND/kg
- Japanese rice: 22,000 VND/kg
For paddy, also according to An Giang’s Department of Agriculture and Environment:

In many localities, trading of dried paddy is subdued, with few warehouses purchasing and stable prices.

- In Hậu Giang, harvest is progressing well, with little change in prices.
- In Đồng Tháp, traders are making sporadic purchases of Summer-Autumn paddy with stable prices.
Export Market:

Vietnam’s rice industry is facing a steep drop in export prices, even as shipment volumes climb, underscoring the challenges of a volatile global grain market.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the country exported an estimated 4.5 million tonnes of rice in the first five months of 2025, equivalent to 4.5 billion kilogrammes, generating approximately 2.34 billion USD. While the quantity rose by 12.2% year-on-year, export value declined by 8.9%. This sharp contrast resulted from a significant decrease in the average export price, which dropped to around 0.516 USD per kg, down 18.7% compared to the same period last year. Domestically, paddy prices across the Mekong Delta remained relatively stable throughout the past week.
