The bilateral trade turnover in 2024 reached 5.42 billion USD, of which Vietnam's export turnover to France reached 3.4 billion USD.
Footwear of all kinds was the group of goods with the largest export turnover to the French market in the first 5 months of 2025, reaching 271.03 million USD, up by 27.6% over the same period last year, accounting for 17% of the export proportion. The next was the item of phones of all kinds and components reaching 244.3 million USD, up by 9.5% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 15.3% of the export proportion. In the first 5 months of 2025, some export items to France had an increase in export turnover compared to the same period last year, such as means of transport and spare parts increased by 37.9%; coffee increased by 139.7%; cashew nuts increased by 32.8%; vegetables and fruits increased by 23%; electric wires and cables increased by 79.8%.
