AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the German market in the first 5 months of 2025 reached more than 4.08 billion USD, an increase of 29.1% over the same period last year.

The group of goods with the largest export turnover in the first 5 months of 2025 was coffee with 765.1 million USD, an increase of 118.8%, accounting for 18.7% of the export proportion. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 591.7 million USD, an increase of 19.6%, accounting for 14.4% of the proportion.
In third place was the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 474.9 million, an increase of 35.8%, accounting for 11.6% of the proportion.
Some items have had good growth in the first 5 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as means of transport and spare parts increased by 48.6%; iron and steel products increased by 54.2%; pepper increased by 93.9%; iron and steel of all kinds increased by 8 times.
To boost exports as well as increase the market share of vegetables, tubers and fruits in this market, according to the Import-Export Department, Vietnamese export enterprises need to meet the requirements of the import market well. In addition to the minimum mandatory requirements of the market, buyers will also have specific requirements for each type of product.
