The bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and France in 2024 reached 5.42 billion USD, of which Vietnam's export turnover to France reached 3.4 billion USD.
Footwear of all kinds was the group of goods with the largest export turnover to the French market in the first 4 months of 2025, reaching 214.9 million USD, up by 29.1% over the same period last year, accounting for 17% of the export proportion. The next were phones and components reaching 201.9 million USD, up by 4.8% over the previous month, accounting for 15.9% of the export proportion. In the first 4 months of 2025, some export items to France had an increase in export turnover compared to the same period last year, such as means of transport and spare parts increased by 33.8%; coffee increased by 101.6%; seafood increased by 28.6%; electric wires and cables increased by 96.8%.
