Tasco (HUT) General Meeting of Shareholders: Profit target of VND571 billion, up 87%

AsemconnectVietnam - On May 26, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Tasco Joint Stock Company (stock code HUT) approved the business plan with the target of total revenue of VND39,878 billion, profit after tax of VND571 billion, up 32% and 87% respectively compared to the implementation of 2025.
At the General Meeting, Tasco's leaders said that selling and providing automobile services is the core business of the Company. Tasco has cooperated with Geely, one of the top 10 automobile manufacturers in the world. Geely is the parent company of Volvo, and a major shareholder of a series of globally famous brands such as Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, and Smart car joint venture with Mercedes Benz. The cooperation with Geely helps Tasco exploit the potential of the Vietnamese market and the international market.
At the Congress, Mr. Vu Dinh Do, Chairman of Tasco's Board of Directors, said that Vietnam's economy is in the early stages of a new era, the planning and restructuring stage, with much work to do. This is not yet the stage of enjoying the fruits of its labor. The growth of the automobile industry is part of that whole. The automobile industry in the world in general and Vietnam in particular is competing fiercely, which is good for consumers. In Vietnam, the automobile industry has had the participation of Japanese and Korean manufacturers for a long time, and recently many leading Chinese brands have come to Vietnam, making the market more competitive, which affects the Company's core business activities. “We aim for vertical integration, and do not prioritize anything that does not serve customers throughout. Tasco aims for the upstream to master technology, create cars in its own way, but not with Tasco's own brand, but by cooperating with the world's leading partners. With the downstream, we do not only make cars but also move towards providing services that customers use every day such as repair and maintenance, not excluding car washing", emphasized the Chairman of Tasco's Board of Directors.
Tasco's leaders added that the Company aims to build a strong enough technology infrastructure, not only for the Company but also an infrastructure connecting the automotive service ecosystem. Vertical integration will not be feasible without a consistent digital platform, allowing the connection of rescue and repair service partners... nationwide.
This year, Tasco will also focus on restructuring the organization towards streamlining, increasing the application of technology, artificial intelligence, and orienting towards sustainable ESG development. At the same time, develop more luxury car brands and new energy vehicles.
In 2025, Tasco will increase the number of showrooms and distribute more new car brands to meet consumer demand and exploit the long-term growth potential of the market. In particular, focus on implementing the domestic car assembly project (CKD) to serve the domestic market and aim to export to countries with free trade agreements with Vietnam. Develop Carpla to become the No. 1 genuine used car e-commerce platform in Vietnam, with many utilities from online to offline. Provide repair services - spare parts, for cars that have expired warranty nationwide with genuine imported spare parts, improve the quality of after-sales services, car rental services.
Regarding VETC non-stop toll collection, Tasco aims to develop smart traffic services and payment intermediaries, expand non-stop toll collection services, VETC e-wallet. Providing cashless transportation solutions, including fuel payments, financial overdrafts, airport tolls, parking lots and other convenient services for vehicle owners. Continuing to invest in technology, infrastructure and optimizing resources to maintain the No. 1 market share position in Vietnam, improving the quality of VETC customer service...
In the insurance sector, the Company aims to expand its insurance business network, increase its presence nationwide, aiming to reach 40 business centers and branches, prioritizing development in key cities.
In terms of financial services, Tasco aims to cooperate with financial partners and banks to provide flexible financial solutions for customers, implementing car loan programs with good interest rates. Designing financial products suitable for each customer segment. Continuing to develop microfinance products to expand transportation and fuel payment services according to the buy-now-pay-later model.
Regarding real estate, the Company continues to operate and improve the efficiency of exploiting 2 international 5-star resorts including Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and Ana Mandara Da Lat. Implement projects within existing land funds: combine with Tasco Auto/Savico to effectively exploit real estate and projects with an existing land fund of about 159 hectares. In the immediate future, in 2025, implement real estate projects in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho.
